The political conflict between the federal government and the regional administration of Jubbaland is still intensifying after the re-election of President Ahmed Madobe.
The two sides continue to have strong movements in the areas of Jubbaland, after the deployment of troops by the federal government of Somalia.
Ahmed Madobe, who spoke yesterday at a mosque in Kismayo, detained the troops deployed to Raskambooni for 15 days, and promised to take action, adding that President Hassan will take the consequences.
Also, the Prime Minister of Somalia, Hamza Abdi Bare is currently in Nairobi, discussing with Kenya the tension between his government and Jubbaland.
There is also the fact that the federal government is disbanding the army in Jubbaland, and now Mogadishu has brought troops from that administration who have surrendered.
