The Kenyan police have arrested Hashim Dhaghane Mohamud who is being held by three Somali women , a mother , her daughter and her niece who were found dismembered in a suburb of Nairobi on October 21, 2024.
Hashim who is accused of kidnapping and brutally killing Waris Daoud, Amina Abdirashid, and Nuseyba Abdi Mohamed was the suspect arrested in Starehe neighborhood on Sunday and was arrested at Kamakunji police station.
The police believe that this man is the main suspect in this case, and they released his photos last week, while he was on the run.
Hashim was said to have been a member of the Ethiopian Police Force and fled the country after killing his wife , he come to Kenya then became a taxi driver in Islii and Parkland neighborhoods, and was identified on CCTV cameras, taking the victims from their homes in Islii neighborhood.
Also another Somali man who is a suspect in this case is also arrested.
