In a statement issued by the Minister of Defense of the Somali government, Abdulkadir Mohamed, he said that he and his Turkish counterpart Yaşar Güler signed the financial agreement for the improvement of the military.
”We signed a financial cooperation agreement focusing on defense cooperation and the development of the Somali Armed Forces.”
This partnership is particularly important as the Ministry continues to rebuild the Somali Armed Forces,” said Minister Abdulkadir Mohamed Noor.
“According to this agreement, the government of Turkey will provide funds for development projects that are important for the improvement of Somali armed forces , such as equipment, training and financing of important infrastructure,” continued the Minister of Defense of Somalia government.
