The government of Somalia congratulated President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the people of Turkey on the occasion of the 101st Republic Day of Turkey which is a day for celebration of the strength, unity, and continuous efforts of the Republic of Turkey.
A statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Somalia said, “The brave struggle for freedom, led by Ghazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, has an honorable place in the history of the world. The unwavering determination of the Turkish people to secure their freedom and establish an independent republic was an inspiration to the nations of the world. Their courageous journey exemplifies the power of resilience, vision and positive leadership to achieve national goals”.
Finally, the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, “Somalia stands by Turkey, recognizing the friendly relations and shared values that unite the two countries.” We hope to further strengthen our cooperation in pursuit of peace, prosperity, and development for the people of both countries.”
