Kenya exempts visas from African countries, except Somalia and Libya.

At a meeting in Nairobi, Kenya’s Cabinet of Ministers chaired by President William Ruto, it was decided that all African countries will be allowed to travel to Kenya with visas, except for Somalia and Libya.

The decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kenya, it was said that Somalia and Libya were excluded from the African countries due to their security situation and concerns.

Also, people from countries outside the continent have been allowed to stay in Kenya for a period of 2 months without a visa, while people from East African Union countries can stay in Kenya for up to 6 months.

The Kenyan government has justified this move as a way to boost tourism as many people come to the country every year. It also said that it is strengthening the integration of East African society.

Anyway, Somalia is a member of the East African Community, and it should be noted that Somalia is one of Kenya’s neighboring countries, and the Kenyan forces are part of the peacekeeping mission in Somalia.
