Hezbollah in Lebanon has announced that Na’im Qasim will be the new leader of the group, replacing Hassan Nasrallah, the leader who was killed in an Israeli airstrike in Beirut last month.

Naeem Qasim who was previously the deputy secretary of the group is one of Hezbollah’s top leaders still alive, after Israel killed most of the group’s leaders in a series of airstrikes in recent weeks.
