The Somaliland Intelligence Agency the NIA , who spoke for the first time in an official statement , said that action will be taken against some Kulmiye supporters who displayed pistols and guns at the party’s campaign in Hargeisa.
”The bandits who were carrying guns and firing bullets that caused the disturbance and endangered the lives of the people during the campaign of the Kulmiye party, are being sought and will be arrested soon,” said the agency’s statement.
Officials from the Wadani party, who spoke to the media, urged the security agencies to deal with the violent groups, saying that they could pose a security threat.
