The French government is expected to collapse by the end of this week, after the far-right and left-wing parties submitted a no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Michel Barnier on Monday.

The leader of the far-right party RN Marine Le Pen told the reporters in the parliament that the French people are angry and that Prime Minister Barnier has made the situation worse and he needs to be thrown out.

It said that he is preparing a motion against the government. The far left party has also said that it will not give a vote of confidence to the Barnier government and the Macron government.

The combination of right-wing and left-wing MPs in parliament will be enough to topple the French government. The vote of confidence is set to be taken next Wednesday.

Barnier, who was appointed as Prime Minister in September, will be the first Prime Minister to have his government voted down by a vote of confidence in Parliament since 1962, if the members of the French opposition do so.
