US President Donald Trump has spoken out about the two Israeli embassy employees who were shot dead near the Israel Museum in Washington.
Trump condemned the incident, calling the shooting “very sad” and clearly motivated by “anti-Semitism”.
“Hate and extremism have no place in America,” Trump said in a statement on Social Truth, a website he founded. He also sent his condolences to the families of the victims.
The two people killed were a couple who were planning to get married.
