Three Qatari diplomats lost their lives in a car accident in the Egyptian resort city of Sharm el-Sheikh, according to two Egyptian security sources who spoke to Reuters.
The incident also left two other diplomats injured.
The tragic accident occurred just one day before the start of an international summit scheduled to be held in Sharm el-Sheikh on Monday.
The summit aims to finalize an agreement to end the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip.
