The Somali National Army has conducted operations to chase the Al Shabab militias in areas between the Middle Shabelle and Galgaduud regions.
The 26th Brigade of Ali Bin Abi Talib of the national army carried out the operation aimed at preventing the conspiracy of Khawarij in the area of Ali-goodle and Ali-gurey.
The commander of the 26th national armed forces Brigade, Lt. Col. Abdirahman Salad Hujale said during the operation that the army managed to remove landmines from the roads of the Khawarij who wanted to harass the people but the heroes of the national army succeeded in preventing the plot of the Al Shabab and immediately removed the landmines.
The country’s forces with the help of the local people are completing the operations against Al Shabab in the places where they are hiding in the country.
