The NATO alliance is holding an emergency meeting today on Tuesday regarding the tension between Russia and the West.
This urgent meeting of NATO was the result of Russia’s use of the medium-range missile Oreshnik, according to NATO defense officials.
The Oreshnik is a new type of missile that is very dangerous. It has six warheads that can fire six bombs per missile and this missile also has the ability to attach nuclear bombs to its warheads.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said that this Oreshnik missile can reach the farthest capital of Europe in less than 20 minutes and that neither the United States nor Europe can defend themselves.
Today’s meeting is considered a fateful event for NATO, and it is a meeting that is expected to have difficult discussions and the result is that NATO must take a decision of self-restraint or they will take measures against Russia.
