The National Consultative Council meeting in Mogadishu has entered its second day, with the focus today on sensitive issues that have a major impact on the political, security and constitutional future of Somalia.
The conference, opened by the President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, His Excellency Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, is attended by the heads of the member states of the Federal Government, the leader of the SSC Khaatumo administration, and the governor of the Banadir region.
The important issues to be discussed includes,country’s political and security future, such as constitutional review, national elections, and strengthening relations and cooperation between the federal government and state governments.
