The command of the Somali Police Force has issued a press release, in which they said that the public and the media are informed that there is no security threat in the capital of Somalia, Mogdisho.
They said that the terrorist groups tried to create fear by planting what they described as fake mines in a commercial center in Darussalam district.
The police command said they confirmed that the mines were harmless.
As for the damage, they said in the press release that there was no loss of life or property as a result of the attack.
They said that the police immediately responded to the incident and took necessary measures to ensure the safety and trust of the community.
The police command is finally calling on the public to work peacefully with the security forces, and beware of fake news that is disturbing the Somali community.
