The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia has reportedly killed hundreds of civilians at the main hospital in El-Fasher, just days after seizing control of the city, according to the head of the World Health Organization (WHO).
WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said the UN health agency was “horrified and deeply shocked” by reports that around 460 people were killed inside the hospital.
Earlier, the Sudanese Doctors’ Network reported that RSF fighters “brutally killed everyone they found inside the Saudi Hospital — patients, their relatives, and anyone present at the site.”
Although no official death toll has been released, the group said that medical facilities across the city had been “turned into slaughterhouses.”
