Some of the heads of the country’s regional states, namely Galmudug, Southwest, and Hirshabelle, are set to arrive in Mogadishu to attend the National Consultative Council Conference, which is expected to officially open in Mogadishu tomorrow, Sunday.
This conference is set to be important for the issues facing the federal government and the regional states, especially the completion of the elections, the constitution, and the general security of the country.
The conference will also analyze political differences and the process of cooperation between the central government and the regional states.
Although the leaders from Jubaland and puntland were not invite , as a result of pre-existing political differences between the leaders of the federal government and both Puntland and Jubbaland administration.
The National Consultative Council meeting that opens tomorrow in Mogadishu is highly anticipated, coming at a time when the country is facing difficult security, political, and electoral situations.
