The Minister of Defense of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hon. Ahmed Moalim Fiqi, along with a delegation he is leading, paid an official visit today to Ahmed Bin Mohammed Military College in Qatar.
They were warmly welcomed by the College Commander, Major General Ali Mohamed Al-Fadala, who gave Minister Fiqi and his delegation a guided tour of various sections of the institution — including the military training grounds, academic classrooms, and administrative facilities.
During the visit, Minister Fiqi met with Somali National Army cadet officers currently studying at the college. He encouraged them to make full use of the educational opportunity they have been granted and return to Somalia equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to contribute to national security and the rebuilding of the Somali Armed Forces.
