The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, has been warmly welcomed to Cairo, Egypt, where he is participating in the opening of the National Museum of Egyptian Culture and History.
The president is one of the leaders of the countries invited to this event, and he emphasizes the strengthening of the historical relationship between the Somali people and their counterparts in Egypt.
Also the President is expected to meet with his counterpart Abdifitah Al-Sisi, they will talk about strengthening the relationship between these two countries and strengthening the agreements they have already made.
President Hassan will also meet with other international leaders , he will discuss cooperation relations between Somalia and member countries of the Arab League and the African Union.
The other presidents invited are of Albania, Armenia, Bulgaria, Colombia, Croatia, Cyprus, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Djibouti, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Germany, Ghana, the Libyan Presidential Council, Palestine, Portugal, Malta, and the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council.
