The President of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, visited some of the hospitals in Mogadishu where some of the soldiers who were injured in the Al-Shabaab war in Hiran region were admitted.
President Hassan Sheikh spoke to the soldiers one by one, asking about their health conditions.
The president showed support to the military and listened to a report from the health authorities, and ordered to speed up their treatment completely.
The president promised the soldiers that their health conditions will be dealt with.
The president’s visit comes at a time when the Hiran region is fighting against the Al-Shabaab group, and soldiers and local residents who were injured in the fighting have been brought to Mogadishu.
