The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, arrived in Uganda today to attend the Summit of the African Agricultural Development Bank (CAADP).
The president’s delegation was welcomed at the airport by Ugandan government officials.
During the meeting, President Dr. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud will have special meetings with the President of Uganda, Mr. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, and the President of Kenya, Dr. William Samoei Ruto.
These meetings will focus on issues such as regional stability, economic cooperation, and strengthening diplomatic and economic relations between Somalia and other countries.
On the other hand, the President will travel to Ethiopia after receiving an official invitation from the Prime Minister of Ethiopia, Mr. Abiy Ahmed. The purpose of his dialogue with the leaders of Ethiopia is to strengthen bilateral relations and promote the common interests of the two countries.
