Somalia PM Officiated an opening of emergency care center .A big achievement in Medical Infrastructure

The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Mr. Hamsa Abdi Barre, officially opened the emergency care center that was added to the Somali Police Force hospital in Medina.

The Prime Minister said that his government has implemented many facilities, including the blood storage center which has been re-operated for the first time with complete repairs, the emergency response center and the buildings of the various health centers, and he stressed that committed to completing the construction and equipping of the country’s largest hospital.

This center, which was built with the funds of the Somali people who helped in the disaster of the Sobe 2 explosion, consists of the patient care unit, the delivery unit and the emergency unit for the treatment of serious injuries and will be a major part of the emergency response.

Mr. Hamsa thanked the National Relief Committee for managing the finances of the Somali people who helped each other, pointing out that this center will play a major role in the treatment and care of the Somali army and people who are fighting against al-Shabaab.
