The Seventh Session of the International Solar Alliance – ISA Assembly was held in New Delhi, the capital of India.
The 7th General Conference this year was attended by a delegation from the Federal Government of Somalia led by the Minister of State for the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources of the Federal Government of Somalia, Mr. Mohamed Abdullahi Farah, accompanied by the Secretary of the Embassy and the Deputy Ambassador of the Embassy, Mr. Abdifatah Abdullahi Nur and the Director of the Energy Department of the Ministry of Eng. Abdfatah Abshir Ibrahim.
The government of Somalia was thanked for its efforts and representation for two years as the vice president of the African continent and for its role in the development of the solar energy program. The government of Somalia succeeded in building the STARC-SOMALIA training center.
The minister of state gave an important speech during the meeting and gave information about the current energy system in Somalia.
Finally, Minister Mohamed thanked the International Solar Alliance for the role they gave to Somalia to show its leadership potential as well as the close relationship and continuous cooperation.
