Somalia government director of the Women’s Development Department of the Ministry of Family, Sadiyo Mohamed Noor, participated in a meeting held in Mombasa, Kenya, to elect the Chairperson of the Women’s, Peace and Security Security Forum of the IGAD Regional Organization, and Mrs. Sadiyo Mohamed Noor was elected.
The Ministry of Family Development and Human Rights of Somalia has praised the joint efforts of the new leadership team, including the deputy chairman Ms. Amer Manyok Deng from Sudan and Secretary Hon. Dora Byamukama from Uganda.
The IGAD Regional Organization and its member governments are working together to strengthen the Security and Peace of the Region, especially in Sudan, these groups are working to promote the agenda of Women, Peace, and Security in the Region.
