Somalia Government is currently preparing a serious plan that it wants to present to the United Nations and the African Union, which is about the new mission to replace the ATMIS forces.
This week President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud visited the countries of Uganda, Burundi, Djibouti and Kenya ,discussing with the leaders of those countries the new mission that will start in 2025.
The government has focused on putting strong pressure on Ethiopia, which has persisted in its brutal intervention in the Federal Republic of Somalia, so we will be removed from the mission replacing ATMIS.
Various representatives from the United Nations and the African Union are visiting the country, their aim is to bring the heads of the Federal Government together for the Aussom mission, which is expected to be extended to other countries.
However, in the coming days, Mogadishu will host meetings to emphasize the direction of the AUSSOM mission, and the government’s decision against Ethiopia.
