The Minister of Internal Security of the Federal Government of Somalia, Abdullahi Sheikh Ismail Fartaag, condemned those who instigate the tension in the town of Cabudwaq in the Galgaduud region will be held accountable.
The Minister called for maintaining peace and avoiding anything that could lead to further bloodshed.
“I call on the scholars, traditional elders, and intellectuals of the Cabudwaq district to stand up for a solution to the conflict and work together to resolve it. Anyone who is involved in inciting the conflict will be held accountable, and we will bring them to justice,” said Minister Fartaag.
At least five people have been killed from both side of the fighters whom are fighting because of location where a police station will be built.
