The President of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, opened the 7th session of the 11th Parliament today.
The President who delivered speech said that the government is working hard to resolve the political conflict between the Jubbaland and Puntland administrations, saying that the conflict cannot be resolved by force and bullets, but will be resolved through dialogue and consensus.
“We are working hard for the brothers who have left the National Consultative Council (Puntland and Jubbaland) to find them. The status and responsibility of being an elder instructs us to look for anyone who is in doubt and we will continue,” the president said.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud address the security and fight against Al Shabab saying that the doors of the economy were closed and people were prevented from going to the areas he mentioned in Toora-Tooray & Arbacow in the Lower Shabelle region.
The president also showed that the security of the capital Mogadishu has changed a lot in the past years.
