The Somali Police Force in Dharkenley District has arrested a suspect named Mohamed Hassan Adan, who is accused of misleading the public and tarnishing the image of the country’s armed forces.
According to police, the suspect was wearing a military uniform despite not being a member of the Somali National Army. He reportedly recorded a video while threatening and intimidating civilians, an act that sparked fear and confusion within the community.
The Commander of the Banadir Regional Police Division, Colonel Macalin Mahdi, confirmed to the media that Mohamed Hassan Adan is currently in custody and will be brought before the court to face justice.
The police urged the public to continue cooperating with security forces and to report any similar suspicious activities immediately.
