A fire broke out at a perfume warehouse in northwestern Turkey has claimed the lives of six people.
According to the governor of Kocaeli Province, the blaze broke out at 9:05 a.m. local time on Saturday in the city of Dilovası.
Provincial Governor İlhami Aktaş told CNN Türk that four others were hospitalized, including one person in critical condition who is being treated in the burn unit.
The cause of the fire remains unclear.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan expressed his condolences to the victims’ families and said that the Ministry of Labor has launched an investigation into the incident.
