Peace talks are beginning in Saudi Arabia to end the war between the United States and Russia, with officials representing both the United States and Russia.
The talks follow separate meetings between Ukraine and the United States, also held in Saudi Arabia, which the Ukrainian defense minister described as “unprecedented”.
Russian airstrikes in Ukraine continued into the early hours of Monday, with Ukraine saying it had carried out 99 airstrikes.
A Russian airstrike in Kyiv on Saturday killed at least three people, including a five-year-old child.
Ukraine is also carrying out airstrikes in Russia, with the Russian military saying it had intercepted 28 aircraft overnight.
Meanwhile, journalists have been asked to leave the hotel where the Russian-US talks are taking place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, according to the Tass news agency.
Both the news agency and Al Arabiya reported that the talks were set to begin behind closed doors.
