President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud visited the Somali Immigration and Nationality Agency to review ongoing modernization efforts.
During the visit, he received updates on the new E-Visa system and PISCES border management technology, presented by Internal Security Minister Abdullahi Sheikh Ismail Fartaag and Director General Mustafe Sheikh Ali Dhuxulow.
They outlined the government’s plans to further modernize immigration operations, streamline services for Somali citizens, and combat irregular migration and illegal entry.
The President praised the agency’s progress in improving immigration services, strengthening border control, and using biometric systems to enhance national security.
