US President-elect Donald Trump has nominated Thomas Homan, who served as acting immigration director in Trump’s first term, to be director of US border affairs .

In a statement posted on his social media site Truth, President Donald Trump said that the 62-year-old Homan will head border issues, from the southern border of Mexico to the northern border of Canada.

Trump believes that Homan is a man who can fulfill his campaign promise to deport millions of undocumented immigrants from the United States, which Trump described as the largest deportation in the history of the United States.

Also Trump is also set to name Stephen Miller, who is said to be the mastermind behind President Trump’s immigration policy, as the White House’s deputy director of the presidency.

The President-elect of the United States, Donald Trump will return to the White House on January 21 when he will take over from the outgoing President Joe Biden.
