The former governor of Hiran region Abdi Fitah Hassan Afrax was arrested today in Mogadishu, and it is reported that the order for his arrest was given by the commander of NISA Sanbaloolshe.
According to reports, Mr. Afrax was prevented from leaving for Beledweyn before he was arrested.
In a statement published on his Facebook page, he told the international community and the Somali community that this step is aimed at protecting the dignity and rights of citizens, placing responsibility on the government of Somalia.
It is not known the official reason behind the arrest of the former governor of Hiraan region who was currently in the capital Mogadishu for personal matters.
The arrest of this official comes at a time when there is still no solution to the crisis caused by the six soldiers who were killed in Elbaraf district last week and it has connection with this in the city of Beledweyn.
The efforts to find a solution led by the Mudulood Elders who left Mogadishu were joined by the commander of NISA Sanbaloolshe, but that did not make the solution difficult.
It is likely that one of the top leaders of the country will go to Beledweyn to strengthen the fruitful of the war and if it fails, it may cause Hiran forces to vacate the front lines of the war again.
