The new commander of the Kenyan Defense Force (KDF), Lieutenant General David Keter, traveled in Somalia, especially in the cities of Doobley, Afmadow and Kismayo.
The commander and other accompanying officials monitored the Kenyan Army in the three cities, listening to reports.
The General spoke about the AS war in the Kenyan army, pointing out that they will strengthen operations in the Jubbaland area and expressed the Kenyan government to continue supporting security efforts in Somalia.
Kenya which is part of the countries who are among the AUSSOM operation which was replaced from the former ATMIS.
