Jubbaland security forces are conducting large-scale operations against the Al-Shabaab group, targeting their hideouts in Jubbaland areas.
Officers leading the operation said their aim is to eliminate terrorist threats, ensure public security, and ensure peace and stability in the region.
During the meeting, the security situation in the region and joint plans to deal with insecurity were discussed in depth. Ideas were also exchanged regarding strengthening cooperation between security agencies and civil society.
They called on the public to cooperate with security forces in these operations and to report to the enemy if they see their hiding places.
