The Governor of Banadir Region, Mr. Hassan Mohamed Hussein (Muungaab), has made a new administrative reshuffle by reappointing Mr. Ali Macalin Hussein (Ali Saliid) as the Director of the Land Engineering Department.
Ali Saliid previously held this position but was removed by former Governor Yusuf Madaalle in May 2023. The latest move comes after Governor Muungaab dismissed the current director, Mr. Yasin Nur Isse, who had served in the role for the past three years.
Governor Muungaab, who recently took office, has been swiftly reshaping the leadership structure of Banadir Regional Administration through a series of appointments and dismissals affecting both district-level and regional officials.
This move is seen as part of a broader strategy to reform and revitalize key departments within the Banadir administration.
