According to reports from the Galgadud region, nine people have been killed and twelve others injured in a surprise attack by armed militia on camel herders in the areas surrounding Deeqla and Galgalad, near the town of Galinsoor.
Some sources indicate that the death toll may be higher, as tensions remain high in the region. The incident is the latest in a series of violent clashes between militias from Galinsoor and Cabudwaq, with local elders expressing concern over the growing instability.
