The Somali Federal Government forces, with support from international partners, carried out a well-coordinated special operation in Buurta Cadayga, located in the Ceel Baraf area of Middle Shabelle region.
The operation specifically targeted a location where Al-Shabaab militants were regrouping and organizing attacks. According to military sources, 13 Al-Shabaab members were killed, while several others sustained injuries during the assault.
The army command stated that the operation is part of the ongoing offensive against extremist groups, reaffirming their commitment to continue such missions until terrorist threats are eliminated and peace is restored across the region.
