At least five people were killed in the fighting and it is said that 10 people were injured in a heavy battle took place this morning in the northern areas of Galgaduud region between opposing militias.
The fighting that started in the morning in the area of Jabsiile, near Landere which is an area between Herale and Abuddwak has now stopped.
The fighting has been going on for sometimes fighting for the ownership of land there.
The people who were injured in the war were taken to Abudwaq and Herale. The fight is said to be based on a well being dug in Landheer area.
Several times in the past, the leaders of Galmdugu have opened talks with these communities but they have not still stop the conflict.
