At least 21 people were killed and eight others were injured in a rare attack by Israeli planes in northern Lebanon, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health.
The bombing hit a residential building in Aitou, a predominantly Christian village, far from where Israeli forces have carried out thousands of strikes against Hezbollah.
Reporters say that the area is far from Hezbollah headquarters. Hezbollah is located in southern and eastern Lebanon and there are no details about the attack from Israel.
The attack came a day after Hezbollah’s drone attack on a military base in northern Israel killed four soldiers, all of whom were 19 years old and wounded 9 others ,was the deadliest attack on Israel since the Israeli military launched its ground offensive in northern Lebanon.
