Last night unknown gunmen attacked, firing heavily at the Steel Factory in the Daynille district of Mogadishu, where Somali Federal Government forces were stationed.
Recently the government took over the steel factory and evacuated the residents who were living there.
The heavy weapons exchanged between the two sides was widely heard in the neighbourhood areas , as there is still no information about casualties from the attack .
Some of Dayniile residents who talked to RNN Somali Tv said that they were scared and could not sleep because of the heavy gunshoot which were all over the air.
The situation this morning is calm, there has been no statement from Somali security officials regarding the incident.
