More news is coming out of the bombing of the American warplanes in the mountains of the eastern region, which is the base of Daesh in Somalia.

The Daily Mail newspaper in England has published that the airstrike that took place last week in Somalia killed a senior leader of the Daesh group, who is believed to be responsible for recruiting terrorists to carry out attacks in Western countries.

The targeted man has been identified as Ahmed Maeleminine, a senior officer who was in charge of recruiting militias, financing, and leading foreign operations.

“This man recruited terrorists from around the world, trained them to kill innocent people, and then sent them back to Western countries to carry out jihadist attacks in more than one country,” said Sebastian Gorka, the Trump administration’s senior director of counterterrorism.

The governments of the United States and Somalia have not yet spoken about the damage caused by the attack on al-Masikat, although the United States has said that no civilians were harmed, but what is expected is the loss of the Daesh group.
