US President Joe Biden said that this action will ‘stop the war in Gaza, and will increase the humanitarian aid they need so much for the Palestinian people, and will reunite the prisoners with their families.

On the other hand, while talking to the BBC, the National Security Adviser of the White House, John Kirby, explained why it was important to include the new administration of Trump in the negotiations and also said that the importance was the implementation of that agreement.

The president-elect of the United States, Donald Trump, will officially become president in five days.

That impending reality has clearly encouraged Israeli-Palestinian mediators engaged in seeking a cease-fire agreement.

During the previous term of President Trump, he moved the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem and recognized Israel’s possession of the Golan Heights.

This agreement was what the outgoing president Biden wanted so much after the problems of the last 15 months and the issue of the division of his foreign and domestic policies.

Versions of the deal have been on the table since May last year. Hamas and Israel have blamed each other for the delay in the deal.
