The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, had a dinner last night with the Chairman and Members of the Federal Parliament of Somalia.
In his speech at the meeting last night with members of the two houses of the Somali Parliament said that he is ready to dialogue with the regional governments that are absent from the National Discussion Forum, in order to achieve general unity.
“We are working together to strengthen the security of the country, to complete the liberation of the areas where terrorists are hiding, and to ensure the Somalia that our people are waiting for,” added President Hassan.
The President, on the other hand, submitted a request to the members of the two chambers of the Federal Parliament of Somalia for a special meeting before the session of the Parliament, in which he will announce that the country has officially gone to the election of people and votes.
Last night’s meeting was also attended by the Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Mr. Hamse Abdi Barre, and his deputies, and the Presidents of the State Governments; Galmudug, Mr. Ahmed Abdi Kariye; Southwest, Mr. Abdicasis Hassan Mohamed; and Hirshabelle, Mr. Ali Abdullahi Hussein.
