The United Arab Emirates, updated the list of countries it banned from entering the country in the year 2026, whether for tourism, work, or business purposes.
As per the immigration circular, nationals from certain countries are currently restricted from applying for UAE tourist visas and UAE work permits. Applications from these countries are not being accepted temporarily.
UAE visa ban countries in 2026 include:
Afghanistan
Libya
Yemen
Somalia
Lebanon
Bangladesh
Cameroon
Sudan
Uganda
This restriction means that citizens of these nations cannot apply for UAE visas until further notice.
The government of the United Arab Emirates did not give details about the reason for this decision, there are reports related to the security sector that have an effect on the basis of the violence in these countries on this list.
Somalia government has not yet issue a statement regarding the action of the United Arab Emirates whom they have good relationship in terms of Trade, Security & Politics
