Gaalkacyo – Reports from the city of Gaalkacyo in the Mudug region indicate that an armed militia has killed a man and his wife in a deadly attack that took place late this evening.
According to eyewitnesses, the couple was ambushed and shot while traveling in their car, shortly after leaving Bilan Farm and heading home to their residence in central Gaalkacyo. The attack took place near the center of the city, and the victims died instantly at the scene.
Attackers Flee the Scene
Sources say the gunmen fled immediately after the shooting, reportedly escaping through the Tawakal IDP camp, which is located near Bilan Farm. The identities of the attackers remain unknown, and the motive behind the attack is still unclear.
