Bosaso – May 10, 2025: Reports from the port city of Bosaso in Somalia’s Bari region confirm that a boat carrying food and various supplies is currently on fire at the Bosaso port.
Eyewitnesses at the scene say the fire broke out as the vessel was being offloaded. The exact cause of the fire remains unknown, but early reports suggest it may have been triggered by an electrical fault or improper handling during operations.
Firefighters and port workers are actively trying to contain the blaze, as fears mount that it could spread further.
