Yemen’s Houthis, supported by Iran, said they fired two missiles at Israel, hours after the Israeli military said they intercepted a missile fired from the country.
“The first attack targeted the Ben Gurion Airport” in Tel Aviv, and the second was an attack on a power station in the south of the city of Jerusalem, said a statement from the Houthi groups.
The Houthis also said they attacked the USS Harry S. Truman warship. There is still no word from the US military.
The Houthis, who control most of Yemen, have been firing missiles and drones at Israel and ships passing through the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, which they said were supporting the Palestinians.
