A spokesman for Yemen’s Houthis, Yahya Saree, said on Monday that the armed group had attacked targets belonging to the United States and Israel.
Saree explained that Yemen’s Houthis targeted the American aircraft carrier USS Harry Truman, which carried two cruise missiles and four drones, which was in the northern part of the Red Sea, noting that the United States was planning to attack it. Yemen, at the same time they “failed their attempts.”
He added that the Houthis carried out drone attacks on military targets in Jaffa and Ashkelon in central Israel, while the Times of Israel reported that the Israeli army had not reported any information. which is related to Israel’s attack on Yemen.
Also, a spokesman for the UN envoy to Yemen, Hans Grundberg, said he went to the Yemeni capital in an effort to calm the worsening crisis, and it was his first visit in almost two years.
