The Council of Ministers of the Federal Republic of Somalia, which held its weekly meeting, discussed the country’s overall security and the operations to eliminate Al Shabab groups, in which the Somali National Army and local forces have achieved success.
The meeting, chaired by the Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Hamsa Abdi Barre, presented important reports related to the safety of aircraft operating in our country and the challenges facing them in order to find solutions, while protecting the safety of the public and implementing the Policy for Standardizing the Ranks and Salaries of Government Employees.
The Council of Ministers also promoted Mr. Ahmed Jama Omar to the rank of Ambassador, taking into account his knowledge and experience.
