The President of the Republic of Somaliland, His Excellency Dr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdulaahi (Ciro), who is on his official visit to Kenya, held a large-scale meeting with Somaliland friends based in Kenya.
He was accompanied by members of his delegation and senior officials of the Embassy of the Republic of Somaliland in Kenya.
On the otherside , he met with representatives from the international community included: Ambassadors, Deputy Ambassadors, UN agencies, World Bank Presidents, African Bank Presidents, and senior members from partner countries of the Republic of Somaliland.
During the meeting President Cirro focused on his Government’s plans in the areas of: Development, Peace, Democracy, Economy and priority issues for the Government of the Republic of Somaliland.
The members and international community who attended the conference praised the President of the Republic of Somaliland for the tribal forces that his government recently nationalized, and also pledged to work together based on mutual understanding and cooperation.
